I found this article on CNN.com about Facebook pulling profiles create by prisoners.
With all of the creapy people in the world today I have wondered how long it would take before a story like this came around.
Unfortunatly Facebook has done what they can to "Prevent fake profiles" but there is really no way for them to actually know what profiles are fake and which ones arent with the internet as wide open as it is today a person can have several hundred FREE e-mail address. All it takes to sign up for Facebook is an e-mail address and you can enter whatever fake information you want and create an account.
You cant always have the best of both worlds if you want your site to be able to open a Facebook profile instantly it has to be left open to false information.

Who cares if prisoners have facebook pages? I dont' see what the problem is. It might actually help the incarcerated rehab. If they are able to have contact with someone who isn't a psychotic like the people they are surrounded by every day they might become better people.
